Has anyone else been missing American Idol as we all wait for the season 19 premiere? Well, luckily we all have something to look forward to now featuring some of our favorite country American Idol alums. They are teaming up for a Thanksgiving special called Friendsgiving: Live At The Ryman.
Country ‘American Idol’ Alums Are Reuniting For A Special Concert
Tonight, November 18, a special show will be performed at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee. This concert will be live-streamed and feature some of the biggest up and coming names in country music, most of which hail from past seasons of American Idol.

Season 17 American Idol winner Laine Hardy kicks off the list of incredible performers that will take the stage. He has recently released a few songs in 2020 including his own version of “Please Come Home for Christmas.” He has spent a lot of time honing in on his craft and trying to make it big in the country world. Joining him in this concert is his fellow season 17 American Idol contestant Laci Kaye Booth. She recently signed with Big Machine Label Group and is ready to get some more of her original music out in the world.
Season 18 contestants Grace Leer and Dillon James will also be joining in on the fun. For Grace, performing at Friendsgiving Live At The Ryman will be her first time stepping out onto a stage in nine months amid the coronavirus pandemic. “Performing is part of who I am and I cannot wait for those nerves to hit me again right before I step out, to feel that microphone in my hand and to sing my heart out to you guys,” she wrote on Instagram as she gears up for the big show. Dillon was a huge fan-favorite on the season who brought the house down with his unique voice.
Rounding out the performers is country artist Riley Green who rose to fame on the CMT show Redneck Island. Kolby Cooper will also be performing after garnering millions of streams with his country songs on Spotify.

If you live in Nashville, limited tickets are available for socially distanced seating. However, if you want to watch the show from the comfort of your own home from anywhere, you are in luck!
