American Idol will return for Season 22 in February, but fans can get tickets now to attend an upcoming taping of the show. The remaining contestants will be performing in front of a live audience next week.

How to Get Tickets for American Idol Season 22 Taping

On Camera Audiences has a page for fans to request tickets to an upcoming American Idol Season 22 taping. The show is apparently filming for Hollywood Week at Barker Hanger in Santa Monica, California, on Monday, December 11.

Fans can request tickets to the taping now. You’ll have to provide information such as your name, date of birth, email address, and phone number. You must be at least 8 years old to attend. Tickets are free, and the taping is scheduled for December 11 at 2 p.m.

If you can’t make it to Monday’s taping or don’t end up getting a ticket, you can also sign up to be notified if new filming dates are added. For example, the Season 22 live shows will start sometime in the new year.

The New Season Premieres February 18

American Idol will return to ABC for Season 22 on Sunday, February 18, 2024. The season will, as always, kick off with the audition round. Judges Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, and Luke Bryan will be back to give out Golden Tickets, while Ryan Seacrest will once again host.

This season, the show will be visiting the judges’ hometowns. That includes Luke Bryan’s hometown of Leesburg, Georgia; Lionel Richie’s hometown of Tuskegee, Alabama; and Katy Perry’s hometown of Santa Barbara, California.

Earlier this year, Iam Tongi was named the winner of Season 21. Who will follow in his footsteps and become the Season 22 champion? We don’t have to wait too much longer to find out.
