During Tuesday’s new episode of DWTS, host Alfonso Ribeiro announced that next week’s show will feature a tribute to Len Goodman. Several pro dancers from seasons past will be on hand to help remember the late judge.
Those returning pros include Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Kym Johnson-Herjavec, Tony Dovolani, Anna Trebunskaya, Edyta Śliwińska, Karina Smirnoff, Louis Van Amstel, and last year’s Mirrorball champion Mark Ballas.
Goodman passed away in April of this year at the age of 78. The longtime judge died of an advanced form of prostate cancer which had spread to his bones. This season, DWTS honored Goodman’s legacy by naming the show’s Mirrorball trophy after him.
The show has yet to reveal exactly how the returning pros will pay tribute to Goodman, so we’ll have to wait and see what happens when DWTS returns next Tuesday night at 8/7c on ABC and Disney+.

Tuesday’s new episode of Dancing with the Stars was Disney100 Night, and the show opened with a lively performance from the pro dancers. Co-hosts Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough also joined in on the performance, which was set to “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” from Encanto.
In this case, the Bruno in question was of course the show’s judge Bruno Tonioli. The opening also featured an appearance from Jenna Johnson and Val Chmerkovskiy’s baby son Rome. He was shown during a pre-recorded segment advertising the show’s sponsor Hyundai.
