The Voice coach Chance the Rapper has been criticized by some fans after a video emerged of him dancing with a woman at Carnival in Jamaica. Chance has been married to Kirsten Corley since 2019, and they have two children together.
On Monday, model Mela Millz posted a video from a Carnival celebration in which she can be seen grinding against Chance the Rapper as he smacks her rear end. The clip has received mixed reactions. As Instagram user @cityswag777nyc wrote, “Ain’t he married.”
Meanwhile, one Twitter user wrote that Chance “has no class,” while another wrote, “imagine what he’s doin when there’s no cameras around.”
Other clips have been shared on social media showing Chance dancing in a similar manner with other women. At least one fan reportedly speculated that Chance’s behavior could be a clue that he and his wife Kristen Corley are going through a divorce.
Chance and Corley started dating in 2013, and they welcomed daughter Kensli in 2015. The couple stopped living together and were involved in a child support dispute starting in 2016. They later reconciled and got engaged in 2018, tying the knot the next year. In 2019, they welcomed their second daughter Marli.

Not everyone took issue with Chance dancing with women who aren’t his wife. Some people have argued that it’s normal for people to dance and have a good time at Carnival, regardless of relationship status.
“They’re mad at Chance the Rapper for ‘cheating on his wife’ y’all,” one Twitter user wrote, alongside a cry-laughing emoji and a skull emoji. “Don’t bring that European nonsense to this ethnic household and let that man enjoy Caribbean culture.”
However, some have also pointed out that Chance’s spank may have gone too far. As Instagram user @askia11212 wrote, “not slapping it like you at the strip club…this is what not to do pon de road!”
