After a week of teasing on the internet, Rios has finally put out her original song on audio-streaming platforms. The AGT sweetheart announced the release on Instagram September 28, Wednesday.
“And she’s officially out on all platforms!” she said. “After a year and a half of mixing and waiting for the right time to release, it’s finally here.. so many of my friends and family have been begging me to release this song and something was just holding me back from doing so.. I finally feel confident enough to release originals so here ya go!!! I love you all”
“The Long Way” comes after her AGT elimination. As per the singer-songwriter, such unfortunate event has given her “more courage to release my originals.“
According to the 19-year-old, she’s been “holding this song back for so long.” Now, basing on her previous Instagram post, it seems that Rios is planning to release more originals that are already in her music library.
